Typical fashion advice from magazines to blogs often consists of long lists of name brand items to buy, short-term trends to follow, or crazy recreations of past fads. What’s different about Adornabelle is that we want to encourage you to be you.

Sure, if we buy enough hair product, spend enough at the shoe store and our favorite clothing outlet, and go to the salon every month, we can look like the every other “fashionable” woman out there. But should that really be our goal?

God made each of us unique. When we follow hard after trends and the culture’s definition of beauty, we end up looking just like the girl next to us — same jeans, same seasonally colored shirt, same faddish jewelry. Our efforts to “fit in” end up disguising God’s amazing creativity that created us each as individuals.

Here at Adornabelle, we want you to find a look that works for you, and learn to confidently express your personal taste in a way that brings you joy and blesses those around you. We believe that a truly stylish woman is one who stands solidly in her identity in Christ, and lets her clothing be an outward expression of her character, passions, and values.

On the Adornabelle blog, we share tips for defining and expressing your personal style, stories of women who are finding joy in dressing themselves well, and resources for embracing the body, hair, and skin God gave you with natural products and budget-friendly ideas.
