Ready or not, the Holiday Season is here! The Adornabelle Team put their heads together to come up with gift guides of some of their favorite things. Our first guide is just for those {natural} fashionistas who love pretty things!
These gifts are perfect for any lady in your life. All of these companiesare earth friendly. And almost all of them are small, so purchases will support smaller businesses and entrepreneurs. Best of all, we wanted to keep it affordable for everyone, so there’s lots of great things from all of these places that are well under $25. Happy Shopping and Happy Holidays from Adornabelle!
Cowgirl Dirt
We love our Cowgirl Dirt Mineral Makeup around here. I know, we keep saying that. But it’s true! Everything the ladies on the team have tried has been wonderful.
We love that their products are all made with natural, simple ingredients and adore the unique country-girl names that all the cowgirl dirt products have. It’s so much fun to put on makeup with fun names like “Farmer’s Daughter” and “Hi Ho Silver”! And we love supporting small, family businesses like theirs.
Needless to say, we think that if you are looking for stocking stuffers for your family fashionistas, Cowgirl Dirt is an awesome place to start. The lipstick is gorgeous. The pressed eye-shadow comes in an adorable little compact. And if you aren’t sure what to pick out, they have gift cards too! (Click here to visit Cowgirl Dirt and see for yourself!)
Moody Sisters Natural Skin Care
Warning: the following products smell good enough that you may just want to eat them. Seriously.
Moody Sisters put a lot of TLC into their products for those of us with sensitive skin. But there’s something for every kind of skin, too. All the ingredients are natural and gentle and yet absolutely scrumptious, too. I mean, when a place sells a an entire set of coffee-scented products, you know you’re in a good place. And once again, it’s all made in small batches by a family business. That makes it even better.
If coffee isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other scents to try out, too. I’ve been lucky enough to try out several of their products, and I’m not sure you can go wrong with anything you pick out. I love the sugar scrubs and the bar soap is wonderful–and both make for great gifts for pampering someone you love.
Fit2B Fitness
After the holidays, a lot of us think about goals for the following year. And often wonder about working in a little more exercise into our schedules. I heard good things about Fit2B.Us for years before I finally signed up myself this past summer. As a csection mama who had a slow recovery, I was looking for something gentle to help heal my tummy after pregnancy and my surgery. I only wish I’d signed up sooner!
I love that there are workouts that teach principles that I can incorporate into my life, not just into the 30 minutes I hope I can squeeze out of my day to exercise. My posture has improved, and I’m a lot more mindful about all the little ways we can strengthen our cores without fancy equipment. I also love how family friendly and calming the videos are. I can’t say how much improvement I’ve seen even with my less-than-faithful use of the program. I think it would make a wonderful gift for anyone, and You can now purchase a gift subscription to Fit2B.Us easily on the site. I know I’d love one in my stocking this year!
Lilla Rose
I have a lot of hair. It’s rare that I find pretty accessories that actually contains or even works to hold it in place well. Several years ago, a lot of people started talking about Flexi-Clips. And quite a few of the team have tried them out and absolutely love their flexi collections. It’s a great combination of pretty and easy to use that satisfies pretty much any taste. And since they come in so many different styles and sizes, it makes shopping for any hair type and thickness a breeze.
While I have yet to bite the bullet and buy a flexi of my own, I have drooled over the hair sticks, headbands and you pins for a long time. I recently got to try a set of Lilla Rose’s You Pins and I am already falling in love. They are absolutely gorgeous and for once, they are doing a pretty good job at containing most of my hair. Plus, they feel so sturdy–like they’d hold up to years of happy hair styling. Check out all the different things Lilla Rose has and let us know your favorite!
Jamberry Nail Wraps
So, if you haven’t heard of Jamberry Nail Wraps yet, keep reading. Jamberry is probably one of the best nail products I’ve tried in a long time. I love pretty nails, but I’m not very great at nail art. It takes so long and my hubby doesn’t do well with strong smells like nail polish in small areas.
If you hate the smell, the mess and the time involved in pretty nails, Jamberry is a great solution. There’s no mess, you custom cut each wrap to fit your nail size and shape (good for people like me with unusually large nails), and they are pretty easy to apply once you get the hang of it. I love how many different designs Jamberry offers. I love that they are non toxic! And I love that one sheet can do more than one mani and pedi.
Jamberry has so many beautiful designs. (I love these snowflake ones!) There really is a pattern for anyone. And there’s even jams for little girls! I can vouch that they make awesome gifts and can’t wait to stuff some stockings this year with some pretty jams. Just be sure to order before December 10 to make sure you get your jams in time for Christmas!
ThredUp
Gifting on a budget isn’t always easy. But I’ve found and (loved) some wonderful things from ThredUp. ThredUp is THE online consignment store. They have hundreds of items and lots of name brands for fractions of the cost.
I’ve scored some new-with-tag type items and accessories for myself and for gifts for prices I could definitely afford. Some of my current wardrobe favorites came from ThredUp this summer. And everything I’ve bought for myself-and others on ThredUp has been wonderful. Right now, they have a beautiful holiday collection available, too!
I also can’t say enough good for ThredUp’s customer service. After a coupon I received got damaged, they happily replaced it for me with an online coupon code–and sent me another in the mail just in case. I loved that!
